Bhakti Home Gatherings in British Columbia

Simple, Heartfelt Devotion for the Whole Family

What is a Bhakti Home?

A Bhakti Home is a household that opens its doors, either occasionally or regularly, for simple gatherings of kirtan, Bhagavad-gita wisdom, and prasadam. These are small, warm circles where families and friends can deepen their connection to Krishna, support one another, and nourish their spiritual lives.

What happens in a Bhakti Home gathering?

  • Kirtan: Singing the holy names together in a relaxed, family-friendly way.

  • Wisdom: Short, practical reflections from the Bhagavad-gita and other sacred texts.

  • Discussion: Space for questions, sharing, and personal reflection.

  • Prasadam: Honoring sanctified vegetarian food in a mood of gratitude.

Who is it for?

  • Hindu families seeking to strengthen their devotional culture at home.

  • Youth and students wanting satsanga and guidance.

  • Friends and neighbors curious about bhakti and the Gita.

All are welcome! No prior experience is required.

Why Bhakti Homes in BC?

Many Hindu families in BC live far from temples or have busy schedules. Bhakti Homes bring spiritual nourishment closer: into the living room, around the dining table, into the rhythm of daily life.
